Dr. Johnnie Alston received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama. Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He continued his education at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System residency program which focused on podiatric medicine and foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Alston joined the wound care team at the Institute for Advanced Wound Care at Baptist Hospital South in 2008. He has been working part time with Montgomery Foot Care Specialists since 2017. He is a member of the Alabama Podiatric Medical Association as well as the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the Alabama Board of Prosthetists and Orthotists. Dr. Alston has focused on wound care and limb salvage for the past 13 years.
