My favorite thing about being a Podiatric Physician is that I can usually help people feel better the first time I see them. I love to see my patients smiling when their feet suddenly feel better. On the other hand, not all ailments can be relieved in one day. I love to see the hope and relief in a patient’s eyes when I explain the road we are about to take together.
I was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I lived in Michigan until I moved to Chicago for Podiatry school. I attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. My residency was based out of Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. Although I love and still love the Great Lake State, you can imagine my excitement of having the opportunity to live in Chicago for at least four years! I loved the culture and shopping that the Windy City had to offer.
I enjoy the beautiful state of Alabama. I have two daughters who keep me busy with chorus’ theater, and volleyball. I have two dogs who mean the world to me. I also love traveling with family and friends, trying new local restaurants, and supporting my daughters in everything they love doing.
